Experienced Carpet Fitter (Self-Employed) Required

KSH Carpet & Flooring are a respected and well-established flooring company specialising in high-end domestic and commercial installations. With a growing workload and a strong reputation for quality, we’re looking to expand our trusted network of professional fitters.

We are seeking an experienced Carpet Fitter who is confident in working with a wide range of modern materials, luxury carpets and specialist weaves. This role will support our in-house fitting team during busy periods, covering overflow work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fit and finish carpets to a high professional standard
  • Work with various premium and modern carpet materials (e.g., boucle, sisal, patterned and luxury wool weaves)
  • Carry out site preparation, including subfloor checks and underlay installation
  • Liaise with the KSH office team on job timings, specifications, and site requirements
  • Deliver an excellent customer experience in client homes and commercial environments

About You

You will be:

  • Highly experienced in carpet installation with a strong portfolio of work
  • Confident working independently
  • Reliable, punctual and professional when representing the KSH brand
  • A strong problem-solver with attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
  • Comfortable working on high-value projects and premium installations

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ carpet fitting experience (or demonstrable equivalent skill)
  • Own vehicle and full set of trade tools
  • Valid public liability insurance (preferred but can be discussed)
  • Ability to travel to sites in Worcestershire and the surrounding region
